Siam Kayak uses rugged plastic kayaks that a person sits inside. Roy and Anya provide the instructions so each person can use the kayaks properly. Each kayak provides adequate space for one person and storage for all the gear a person may need for the day.

Small items like camera, binoculars and sunscreen can be carried in the cockpit for easy access. A 'spray skirt' (also called 'spray cover') can be worn around the paddler and attached to the rim of the cockpit to keep water from waves or rain from entering the boat.

With proper instruction, these boats are more stable, faster, and easier to paddle than other types of self-powered boats. The kayaks have rudders, making them easy to control. Rudders are not normally necessary, but on windy days can make it easier to stay on course.
